World Veterinary Day Pledge - 2020

I acknowledge that environmental degradation and habitat loss affecting the very existence of life, disrupt the social, economic and health security of the society, and lead to natural disasters, zoonotic diseases, loss of job, and social sufferings. Also, I understand that environmental protection is inevitable for improving both human and animal health, and for maintaining social security.

On this day, I solemnly swear that I will work dedicatedly using my scientific knowledge and experience to its fullest for the protection of environment, upliftment of animal husbandry sector and the promotion of public health.
