Tour and trekking on 14th May 2022 – “Aranyakam” as part of WVD Celebrations 2022

A one day tour was organised by IVA Nedumangad on 14th May, 2022 to Ponmudi and Kallar as part of world veterinary day celebrations which was absolutely in par with the motto of WVD –“Strengthening veterinary resilience”. The tour started from Kerala State Veterinary council, Peroorkada at 7.30am with 18 participants including family members. On the way to Ponmudi, heavy fog was there due to rainfall and it was a very amazing experience. On reaching ponmudi had breakfast(tapioca and chilly chutney)which was enjoyed a lot by all the participants.After breakfast and tea started trekking to Seethatheertham, but unfortunately there was heavy leech attack and the trekking was called off. Then we enjoyed the beautiful climate of Ponmudi for some time and then started to Kallar. On reaching Kallar we had a delicious lunch and started trekking to Meenmutty water falls. After that all of us including kids enjoyed in the Kallar river for a while. After having tea started trekking back  and reached Peroorkada at 6.30 pm.
