Installation

2024 വർഷത്തെ ഇന്ത്യൻ വെറ്ററിനറി അസോസിയേഷൻ കൊല്ലം ജില്ലാ ഭാരവാഹികളുടെ സ്ഥാനാരോഹണ ചടങ്ങും 2024 വർഷത്തെ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളുടെ ഉദ്ഘാടനവും ജനുവരി 27 ന് പകൽ 11 ന് കൊല്ലം വെറ്റ്സ് വില്ലയിൽ വെച്ച് നടന്നു. ഡോ. പ്രിയ എസ് (പ്രസിഡൻ്റ്), ഡോ. അഫ്സൽ എസ് (സെക്രട്ടറി), ഡോ. ശരത് ബാബു (ട്രഷറർ) എക്സിക്യൂട്ടിവ് കമ്മിറ്റി അംഗങ്ങളായി ഡോ. ബി അരവിന്ദ് , ഡോ. കിരൺ ബാബു, ഡോ. മാധുരി ജി, ഡോ. ആര്യ സുലോചനൻ ഡോ. ഫ്രഡ്ഡി കെ സാം എന്നിവർക്ക് മുതിർന്ന അംഗം ഡോ. കെ. ജി. ഉണ്ണിത്താൻ സത്യവാചകം ചൊല്ലിക്കൊ ടുത്തു.   കേരള സ്റ്റേറ്റ് വെറ്ററിനറി കൌൺസിൽ രജിസ്ട്രാർ ഡോ.  കെ. അജിലാസ്റ്റ് 2024 വർഷത്തെ IVA ജില്ലാ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളുടെ ഉദ്ഘാടന കർമ്മം  നിർവഹിച്ചു. അദ്യ മെമ്പർഷിപ്പ് മുതിർന്ന വെറ്റ് ഡോ. കെ ജി ഉണ്ണിത്താൻ സെക്രട്ടറി ഡോ. അഫ്സലിൽ നിന്നും സ്വീകരിച്ചു. കൊല്ലം ജില്ലാ മൃഗസംരക്ഷണ വകുപ്പ് ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി ഡയറക്ടർ  ഡോ. അജിത് എ എൽ, ചീഫ് വെറ്ററിനറി ഓഫീസർ ഡോ. ഷൈൻ കുമാർ, സീനിയർ വെറ്റ്സ് ഫോറം പ്രതിനിധി ഡോ. മാത്യു ജേക്കബ്, കെ. വി. എസ്. എ. പ്രസിഡന്റ്‌ ഡോ. അജിത് പി എന്നിവർ ചടങ്ങിന് ആശംസ നേർന്നു. കൊല്ലം യൂണിറ്റ് എക്സിക്യൂട്ടിവ് മെമ്പർ ഡോ. മാധുരി ജി. ചടങ്ങിന് നന്ദി പറഞ്ഞു . തുടർന്ന് കൊല്ലം ജില്ലാ വെറ്ററിനറി കേന്ദ്രത്തിലെ സീനിയർ വെറ്ററിനറി സർജൻ ഡോ. ഷീജ, വെറ്ററിനറി സർജൻ ഡോ. കിരൺ ബാബു എന്നിവരുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ clinical management of emergency cases എന്ന വിഷയത്തിൽ ക്ലാസുകൾ നടന്നു.

Indian Veterinary Association, Kollam Unit conducted a one day trip to Arippa on 11-02-2024 Sunday. Arippa, The spectacular wooded highlands of westernghats located at holy land of  Kulathupuzha. This place rejunate our soul,mind and body with its mesmerizing serene nature. The journey started from kottiyam LMTC at 7 AM and reached arippa at 10 AM. After breakfast, Dr. B Aravind, Dr. Annie, Dr. Anantha Krishnan, Dr. Ajith A L and Dr. Shinekumar shared their professional experiences. Cultural programme by team Vetrhythms gave mesmerising moments to the entire team. Followed by lunch we went to a natural pool and spent the evening with lots of fun. By 6 pm we returned from arippa with good memories. IVA kollam unit is thankful to Dr. Nizam and Dr. Binu D. S. for the necessary arrangements. Also taking this opportunity to thank each and everyone, who have supported for the success of this programme.

ഇന്ത്യൻ വെറ്ററിനറി അസോസിയേഷൻ കൊല്ലം യൂണിറ്റിലെ വനിതാ വെറ്ററിനറി ഡോക്ടർമാർ Lady Vets Day 2024 ന്റെ ഭാഗമായി കരിക്കോട് മഹിളാ മന്ദിരത്തിലെ അന്തേവാസികൾക്കു TOUCH OF HOPE   എന്ന് നാമകരണം ചെയ്ത പരിപാടിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി 6/03/24 ന് സാനിറ്ററി നാപ്കിൻസ്  യൂണിറ്റ് പ്രസിഡന്റ്‌ ഡോ. പ്രിയയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ സൂപ്രന്റ് മായക്ക് കൈമാറി.  ചടങ്ങിൽ ഡോ ആനി മേരി, ഡോ ഗീതാറാണി, ഡോ രശ്മി ആർ എന്നിവർ പങ്കെടുത്തു. പരിപാടി വിജയമാക്കാൻ സഹായിച്ച എല്ലാവർക്കും ഈ അവസരത്തിൽ നന്ദി രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു.

ഇന്ത്യൻ വെറ്ററിനറി അസോസിയേഷൻ കൊല്ലം യൂണിറ്റിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ ഡോ വി രമ, ഡോ സി പി അനന്ത കൃഷ്ണൻ എന്നിവരെ ആദരിച്ചു. മികച്ച ക്ഷീര സഹകാരികക്കുള്ള ജില്ലാതല അവാർഡ് ജേതാവായ ഡോ രമ മുൻ മൃഗസംരക്ഷണ വകുപ്പ് ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി ഡയറക്ടർ ആയിരുന്നു. ഡോ. സി. പി. അനന്ത കൃഷ്ണൻ, ക്ഷീരകർഷകരുടെ സുഹൃത്തും,സംരക്ഷകനും, മാർഗദർശിയുമായി തിളങ്ങുക മാത്രമല്ല,  ഭരണപരമായ നേതൃ സ്ഥാനത്തും തൻ്റേതായ കയ്യൊപ്പ് ചാർത്തി മൃഗസംരക്ഷണ വകുപ്പിൽ DAHO സ്ഥാനത്തുനിന്നും 29/02/24 ന് വിരമിച്ചു. ഇന്ത്യൻ വെറ്ററിനറി അസോസിയേഷൻ കൊല്ലം യൂണിറ്റ് പ്രസിഡന്റ്‌ ഡോ. പ്രിയ ചടങ്ങിന്റെ അദ്ധ്യക്ഷയായി. ജില്ലാ മൃഗസംരക്ഷണ ഓഫീസർ ഡോ അനിൽ കുമാർ, ചീഫ് വെറ്ററിനറി ഓഫീസർ ഷൈൻ കുമാർ, ഡോ പ്രദീപ് കുമാർ, ഡോ ഗീതാറാണി എന്നിവർ സംസാരിച്ചു. ആദരസൂചകമായി ഇരുവർക്കും പൊന്നാടയും ഫലകവും കൈമാറി. കൊല്ലം യൂണിറ്റ് 11/02/24 ന് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച അരിപ്പയിലേക്കുള്ള ഉല്ലാസയാത്ര വിജയമാക്കാൻ മുന്നിൽ നിന്ന് പ്രവർത്തിച്ച ഡോ എം എ നിസാമിനെയും ഡോ ബിനു ഡി എസി നെയും യൂണിറ്റ് അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു. ചടങ്ങിന് ഡോ അഫ്സൽ സ്വാഗതവും ഡോ ശരത് ബാബു നന്ദിയും പ്രകാശിപ്പിച്ചു. പരിപാടി വിജയമാക്കാൻ സഹായിച്ച എല്ലാവർക്കും ഈ അവസരത്തിൽ നന്ദി രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു.

Installation and inauguration of activities-2020

The Indian Veterinary Association has always existed as a closely-knit family in Kasaragod district serving to empower, strengthen and help the members. The commencement of activities began with installation ceremony of new office bearers. The oath of installation and general body meeting of the office bearers were conducted by Dr. N. Mohanan. He spoke inspiringly to help us look forward and stay motivated. A very interesting and beneficial HR training by National trainer, JCI Mr. Sreeni followed and all members actively participated in the stress management and team building exercises along with a relaxing guided meditation at the end. 
Lunch break was followed by an enthralling music programme by the members. There was a discussion on NADCP which would be shortly pursued and Dr. Sethulakshmi gave a presentation regarding the implementation of NADCP. 
The District Panchayth President Sri. A.G.C. Basheer inaugurated the IVA activities of 2020 and released the IVA diary.  Dr. Chandrababu E., State Executive member and Auditor delivered the welcome address and IVA president Dr. Soorya Narayana Bhat presented his presidential notes. The IVA action plan for 2020 was presented by IVA Secretary Dr. K. Sreevidya Nambiar. 
IVA Treasurer Dr. Chandini spoke on the importance of remitting the IVA subscriptions on time and IVA State executive member Dr. Asha P. thanked the invited guests, office bearers of IVA 2020 and the gathering of Veterinarians of Kasaragode.
A general body meeting of IVA was held on February 11, 2020; convened at a cozy highway restaurant named ‘Wide Range Village’ Padannekkad. The ambience was perfect for the get together of IVA members and the conduct of felicitations. The meeting commenced at 10.00 AM. The morning session was specially devoted to discussing and finding solutions to the problems and difficulties faced by young field veterinarians; chiefly the tackling of insubordination by staff members in Veterinary institutions which largely affects the working efficiency. The District Animal Husbandry Officer was convinced of the issues and he promised to take necessary actions immediately.
Senior Veterinary Surgeon Dr. Sunil G.M. engaged a class on the delegation powers and the enhanced financial powers of Veterinary surgeons; which was indeed very useful for the members. Dr. Roshan effectively briefed upon the online data entry for the updated Gosamrudhi Insurance scheme.
The afternoon session witnessed a peak of IVA activities. IVA State committee member Dr. Chandrababu E. welcomed the gathering and IVA President Dr Soorya Narayana Bhat chaired the function. The programme was officially inaugurated by District Animal Husbandry Officer, Dr. T.G. Unnikrishnan. The biodata of the felicitated Vets were presented by IVA State committee member Dr. Asha P., member Dr. Smitha Sebastian and IVA Treasurer Dr. Chandini. Felicitation was conferred upon Dr. Ayub A., Deputy Director of AH who had won the covetous state award. Felicitations were also offered to eminent Senior Veterinarians Dr. Sreesha R. Khare and Dr. Vijayakumar B. Sanghal who are retiring from service. Mementos, shawls and fruits were gifted to them.
A very warm sendoff was given to the hardworking enthusiastic vets Dr. Mohammed Rashad and Dr. Kiran Babu S. on their transfer to other districts. Their service in Kasaragod district was memorable. Mementos were gifted to them.
The program concluded with reply speeches by the felicitated vets and vote of thanks by IVA Secretary Dr. K. Sreevidya Nambiar.

The inauguration of activities of IVA Kozhikode for the year 2020 and installation of district office-bearers were conducted at Hotel Alakapuri, Kozhikode on 4.01.2020. Smt. K.P. Sudheera, Eminent Writer inaugurated the function. The office-bearers were installed by Dr. N. Mohanan, State vice President, IVA Kerala. Dr. K. Nina Kumar presided over the function. Dr. K. Anand, Dr. Sneharaj R.K., Dr. P.P. Balakrishnan, Dr. Haroon Abdul Rasheed, Dr. Suresh T. Ornadi spoke during the function.

Installation of the office bearers of Indian Veterinary Association, Pookode Unit for the year 2020 was held at Hotel Wayanad Gate, Lakkidi, Wayanad on 30th January 2020. Dr. Prasanna K. S, the outgoing Secretary, delivered the welcome speech and Dr. Binu. K. Mani, the outgoing President delivered Presidential address. The function started by paying homage to departed souls Dr. K. N. Muraleedharan Nair, Dr. Abraham Varkey and Dr. N. Murugesan. IVA State President, North Zone Dr. N Mohanan, addressed the gathering and installed the office bearers.

The function was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.). M. R. Saseendranath, Hon’ Vice Chancellor, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. In the inaugural speech he stressed the need for combined efforts of Animal Husbandry and KVASU addressing the current issues faced by the farming community of the state. Dr. P. P. Balakrishnan, First Dean of CVAS, Pookode was honoured in the function and he shared his experiences of establishing the Veterinary college at Pookode. Prof. (Dr.) N. Ashok Registrar, KVASU, Dr. M. K. Narayanan, Director of Entrepreneurship, KVASU and Dr. Koshy John, Dean, COVAS, Pookode offered felicitation and ensured full co-operation for all the activities organized by IVA, Pookode Unit. Dr. M. Abdul Kareem, Retd. DD, AHD and Dr. Manoj V. J, Secretary, IVA, Wayanad Unit also graced the occasion with their presence. Thrissur -Maanuthy unit -The installation ceremony of office bearers 2020, Annual convention, Family get-together and cultural night was organized

The installation ceremony of office bearers 2020, Annual convention, Family get-together and cultural night was organized by the IVA CVAS Mannuthy unit on 27.01.2020. Dr. S. Maya, President, IVA CVAS Mannuthy unit- 2020 presided over the function. The function began at 6.30 pm with a prayer by Dr. Ashi, MVSc student. Dr. Divya P.D., state committee member delivered the veterinarians oath. Dr. N.S. Sunilkumar, Secretary, IVA Mannuthy unit welcomed the gathering. Dr. Justin Davis introduced the chief guest. Prof. (Dr.) M.R. Saseendranath, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University inaugurated the function. He emphasized on the importance of extension activities to counteract the misleading news about the hormone usage among the broiler industry. As a token of gratitude Dr. Rajagopala Raja, Former Director, CASAGB honoured Hon’ble Vice Chancellor on behalf of the unit.

Dr. J. Abraham, Founder director of Centre of Excellence in Meat Science and Technology installed the new office bearers by administering the installation oath. Dr. S. Maya, President, IVA CVAS, Mannuthy unit delivered the acceptance speech and presidential address. Dr. N. Ashok, Registrar, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University distributed the Faculty excellence award and Students excellence awards and addressed the gathering. Dr. Ajith Jacob George, Director of Academics and Research, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University honoured the scientists retired from the university during the year 2019. Dr. C. Latha, Dean, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Dr. P.V. Tresamol, Associate Dean, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Dr. Haroon Abdul Rasheed, Joint Secretary, IVA, Kerala and Dr. S. Shibukumar, Treasurer, IVA Kerala felicitated the function.

The official function was followed by cultural programmes in which 26 different items were performed by retired teachers, faculty, students and family members. A total of 320 people participated in the faction. The programmes were concluded at 11.30 pm

Installation of Indian veterinary association Kannur district office bearers 2020 and inauguration of activities was held on 7th February 2020 at hotel Royal Omars at 12:00 p.m. The function was inaugurated by honorable Mayor of Kannur corporation, Smt. Suma Balakrishnan and was presided by Dr. V. Prashant, outgoing president IVA, 2019. Dr. C.P. Prasad took over the reins of the presidential post from Indian veterinary association North zone Vice President Dr. N. Mohanan. Dr. P.N. Shibu took over as the District Secretary, Dr. Asha K.P. as District Treasurer and Dr. Sujan M.P., Dr. Santhosh Kumar K.V., Dr. Asif M. Ashraf, Dr. Soya E. as state committee members. Dr. P.K. Padmaraj (IVA state committee member 2019) delivered welcome speech. Keynote address was given by Dr. N. Mohanan followed by the presidential address delivery by Dr. C.P. Prasad. Kannur District animal husbandry officer Dr. V.V. Muktha, Principal Training Officer-LMTC Kannur, Dr. Winny Joseph, Deputy Director, District animal husbandry Office, Kannur - Dr. M.P. Gireesh Babu, Dr. Muralidharan (President, KVSA Kannur) and Dr. Ajitha (President, KGVOA Kannur) felicitated the function. Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. P.N. Shibu.

A retirement felicitation to Dr. Shreesha R. Khare was also organized along with the programme. After the official function, cultural programmes by member veterinarians were also arranged.
